Committees

The Triangle South Workforce Development Board has a number of committees that meet to discuss and explore options in specific areas of workforce development related to the overall goals of the Board. The committees make recommendations to the Board for a vote.

Committee Responsibilities
Executive Committee Assists the Board in setting its agenda and planning its activities
Policy Committee Reviews Board policies and makes recommendations to the membership.

Provides training on Board policies
Nominating Committee Nominates Executive Committee
Youth Council Assists the Board in setting direction and guidelines for youth programs.

Assists the Local Area Director in establishing effective strategies and programs to achieve the board-stated directions for youth
Ad Hoc Committees May be formed as needed and will cease to exist as soon as its task is complete.
